Edit: Try this using the USB device to start the upgrade instead of Windows Update:
Uninstall your antivirus, unplug any unnecessary peripherals, disconnect from the Internet entirely, and perform a clean boot. So, while in the make clean boot surround, attempt starting the upgrade from there. If y'all demand instructions on how to perform a clean kicking, see this back up page.

I accept also been getting the c 1900101-40017 error when trying to do the update through windows update. I am using a Dell Ispiron 1545 running Windows vii Home Premium with Service Pack i. ( as according to my Computer backdrop) I have downloaded the Zip file extractor and accept extracted the files. It at present says that it is ready to install. Cantankerous your fingers, I've been at this for 2 days with no luck. At that place's got to be a solution!!

Yous tin give information technology a try and see what happens. Note that you must perform this from your current Windows seven.
What was the problem that occurred using Windows Update and the MCT and at what stage of the installation?

But why does it tell me: "Uninstall latest preview build" in View Your Update History. Is that a legit concluding version that upgrades my Windows 8/8.one key to Windows ten?
And of class does information technology contain any Spyware? Yeah it is from MS's server... but it's not official.
BTW. This is the simply version that installed properly: All other ways would hang on the second reboot.
